Chapter -2, Section - 3, Story - 1.

The Mystical Place

His deep-set blue eyes, stretched themselves to their max, hands got numb falling down in the air, the “not so much wrecked body” surrendered itself as soon as the astonishing view got absorbed in his small yet pure soul.

The sun rays penetrating the cracks making polka dots on the green grassy ground, lighting up the still budding flowers, looking for a way to come out, casting different shades of green and bright colors. With a small water body in between, populated with creatures clearly visible through Adam’s ale, fishes wandering all around, looking for water fleas.

These all surrounded and protected by broad and dense woods, standing tall and firm as the accommodation of rodents and twittering birds.

It was like heaven in the middle of hell.

Haru, still in shock, standing.

“Am I dreaming?... oh... I must be dreaming. This place is just too beautiful to be present on this part of the world”, murmuring to himself.

The next second, his right-hand reaches his right cheek and pulls a piece of it.

“Ahhh... ohh... ohhh... It hurts. So, this all is real. Good...”, he felt relaxed and at ease.

The nurturing atmosphere was forcing him to sit down and drown into the greatness of nature.

As the clock moved and the cool breeze began to collide with his hot and wore out “lump of flesh”, he felt life returning to him.

The twittering of birds and songs of nature made him fell in the ditch of memories, again.

“This journey till now... It’s been frightening. Each cell of my body has witnessed, a different side of this world, a dark side.

It’s true, but at the same time, I have met some amazing and lovely people too. Master and Mitsubi, they are the only one, on whom I can depend right now.

But, sometimes it all sucks. I wonder, how my life would have been, if my parents were alive”, thinking while lying on the cloudy grass, a tear droplet slides out of the corner of the eye.

Suddenly, a voice strikes his ears, pulling him out of his deep intellectualism. He forces his body to get in the alert mode and stands up to look for the noise source.

After rotating his sight over the heavenly place, he couldn’t notice anything suspicious, putting his guard down

“Hey... What are you doing here”, a familiar yet heavy voice came his way from behind.
“huh... Master... you...”, he shot back as soon as he flipped back.

“Yes, me but what are you doing here. Weren’t you training”, he questioned while getting close to him.

“Yes, I was. But eventually, I was looking for water and then my led slipped and I ended up here rolling”, he explained himself thoroughly.

“Okay... I understand... maybe we should sit and talk for now”, making a proposal, he swayed his gentle hand over his head.

Pointing their backs to a sturdy leafy tree, under its shade, they went on a long road of conversation.
“So, how are you feeling now?  Has your mental anxiety stabled now?”, Izumi asked comfortably, helping Haru to fit in the situation.

“How do you know that my mind was accommodated by flickering thoughts”, he responded in amazement.

“Why do you think you came here accidentally?...  This is not an ordinary place. Not everyone knows about it”, tried to reveal something.

“What do you mean by that”, Haru queried with curiosity.

“This place decides itself its visitors. The atmosphere here, it helps to purify their mind and soul, stabilizing their inner storm to make firm and better decisions”, Izumi explained of the place to Haru, thoroughly.

Haru was absorbing all the words uttered by his master. Turning his visage to Izumi and the place again and again.

“So, you mean, that it chose me to be here”, Haru popped up with new shine.

“Hmm... That’s why you are here, And remember son don't tell about this place to Mitsubi, let it be natural for him to, for only then could he feel the relaxing effect you are having now" Izumi commented while gazing at him with care.

“So, how are your wounds? Are they still hurting”, Izumi inquired affectionately.

“I am good now. Mitsubi helped me”, Haru opened to him.

“I know, Mitsubi told me about everything. But I never thought that you’d go for that climb again, though you were so close to dying.

Your mother and father should be really proud of you right now”, Izumi clarified and paused for a moment.

“I miss them... a lot...”, tears broke out as Haru groaned.

The pain and suffering flowing out with them, claiming an end to the stormy thoughts.

As soon as, two broad yet warm arms enclosed Haru, responding to the action, Haru unconsciously hugged Izumi and kept weeping on his shoulder until the tears dried and eyes swelled.

The clock paused, two of them in the same position and place irrespective of the outside forces.

“Hey, are you okay, now”, Izumi inquired slowly.

“Hmm... yes... yes...”, coming back to his senses, he retreated and sat firmly placing his back on the tree again.

“Considering whatever happened today, you may leave this training here”, Izumi proposed.

“No, I can’t. I will complete it”, Haru responded swiftly, breathing deeply and making up his mind firmly.

“Listen, boy, I gave you this task just so you can predict the level of training. I never thought that you’d even reach this far. So, that’s enough for today”, Izumi felt concerned for him.

“I... No matter... I know, I still can do it. I want to resume it, master”, Haru appealed.

“Hmm... Okay, but take care of yourself. Because certainly, your life is not yours only”, considering  Haru’s appeal, Izumi made his point.

Haru nods his neck up and slides to the water point to quench his thirst, which’s been vanished, owing to the sudden awakening of suppressed emotions.

Termination of his thirst boosted him up for the upcoming challenges. After slipping his sight over his master, he finally moves out through the path showed by Izumi, reaching the top and completing half of around.

With the running time, the sun climbed his head and came down, but he kept on going with the task.
The projection of bruises on the naked parts, translucently covered by dust, paining the same as if needles were being punched, clothes were torn, palms swelled as of grabbing branches tightly, but still ongoing.

The exhaustion of an intense day had been projecting on his worn-out face, clearly. Still, to be able to complete 6 rounds, extending the limits, again and again, pushed him on the verge of fainting.

“This... at least.... this one too... I have to go on... move...move...”, pushing his body hard, with heavy eyelids, just at the bottom of the hill.

“Yeahhh... Yeah... Yesss...”, he finished the sixth one.

The battle between the body and mind, lost by the body, starts falling unconsciously.

“Ahhh...”, felt a warm touch, hanged in mid of the air.

“Time to go home, Son”, Izumi exclaimed.
